# Audit log

> See who changed what in your organization — filter, inspect details, and spot failures.

The **Audit log** shows who changed what in your organization. It lives under **Administration** (not under Integrations) and is available to **owners** and **admins** when Audit log is included in your plan.

The page follows SquadVault’s usual layout: **status** (health of the current view), **work** (searchable activity), then **insights** (failures, API changes, role changes).

## Open the audit log

1. Open **Audit log** under Administration in the sidebar.
2. If the page is locked, upgrade from [Billing](/user-guide/billing).
3. Use filters or search to narrow the view, then open a row for details.

## Filters and search

Filters sync to the URL so you can share or bookmark a view:

| Filter  | Use for                                                       |
| ------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Search | Actor, action code, or summary text |
| Source | Web app, API, Flow, or system |
| Outcome | Succeeded or failed                                           |
| Area | Players, teams, members, Discord, webhooks, and other domains |

Use **Load more** when there are additional pages of events.

## Event details

Click a row to open details:

* When it happened (absolute and relative time)
* Actor and source
* Target (when available)
* Action code and metadata
* Copy event ID or action code for support

Failed events are marked in the list and in status when the current view includes failures.

## What is recorded

Mutations across the product write audit events — for example players, teams, events, members, invitations, flows, tasks, documents, feedback, recruiting, availability, staff, API keys, webhooks, Discord (including team lists), and [organization settings](/user-guide/organizations#organization-settings).

Read-only browsing does not create audit entries.

## Tips

* Start with **failed** outcome when something looks wrong.
* Filter **API** source after rotating or creating keys to review programmatic changes.
* Role changes appear under members — confirm permissions still match intent.
* Insights on the right jump into the matching filter when you click them.
